“Frensham Village Shop was, I believe, one of the earliest sources for the sale of Ruth’s cards. We had been wanting local scenes on postcards or as greetings cards for some time, and it was a lucky day when Ruth arrived with some samples. These sold well and she willingly and efficiently added to the selection of village scenes by photographing places or views which I suggested.

A major benefit to a small shop is that we do not have to order a vast number of each view each time we place an order. There are sufficient scenes to give us a steady turnover and therefore a regular order from Ruth. Our shop has received many compliments on the attractive cards.
